Windsong was inspired by Sanibel Island - my favorite place, my paradise. I took a photo of the gorgeous landscape over 5 years ago on my last visit and it has been calling for me to paint ever since. Can you hear the palms blowing in the breeze? Those last moments of sun as the horizon changes and golden hour approaches…feeling the salt on your skin and smelling the remnants of sunscreen from a day by the sea. Thats what this piece feels like.
